It took 27 years, but Marty McFly’s autolacing Nike Mags from Back to the Future Part II are finally here. Nike announced today that the brand will be making 89 pairs of the self-tying sneakers to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
According to Nike, “Consumers have an opportunity to donate funds to win one of the pairs of the Nike Mag. The Draw acts like a raffle in that everyone has a chance to win a pair of the Nike Mag. Each ticket is a $10 donation and there is no limit to the amount of tickets you can buy. The more you donate the greater chance you have of winning.”
100 percent of the profits from the shoes will go the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which helps fund research for Parkinson’s disease.
