Whenever you listen to an Austin Brown record its easy to try and discount it and say “Well, he’s Michael Jackson’s nephew, he’s supposed to be good.” But once you hear a few tracks as I have, you quickly realize, this kids is genuinely special and deserves to be recognized for his own merits. Of course, because of his legacy he will always be held to a higher standard but something tells me in time he’ll meet and surpass them all.
